Of course, there are many obvious benefits such as stress relief, self-defense, and social and sports aspects, but did you know martial arts training is also a great form of fitness?

Martial arts training is not only great for toning your body, but it also offers a great cardio workout. The best part is you get all the other values while getting into shape.

Another benefit over the typical gym, is we have professional instructors to motivate you and keep you on track to meet your fitness goals. Keep in mind, results don’t happen overnight but you will start feeling the benefits right away. Combine martial arts with a balanced diet and you will be on your way to a healthy lifestyle.

If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to work out and get in shape, then give martial arts classes a try. If you aren’t enrolled in classes, or you know someone looking for a place to get in shape, talk to an instructor today to meet and exceed one of the most common and difficult resolutions. This is your year!

It's a great feeling to be free to travel on extended seminar tours around our beautiful country. Visiting old friends and making new ones is a real pleasure. I have found that American Martial Artists are a vibrant and wonderful group of people. After 66 years in the Martial Arts, I have mastered a great deal of technical data on strategy and tactics of the Martial Arts. In fact I seem to be learning more and faster than ever before.

Of course, at age 85, I don't have the strength, speed and other physical abilities I used to possess. I find, however, that my understanding of the techniques, especially my ability to invent and learn new variations, is growing rapidly. The spirit of the Martial Arts never changes - I'm still trying to learn that!

Every seminar I teach is now a wonderful learning experience for me. The light just keeps bursting forth as I learn more and more about the spirit and techniques of many Arts. During my final years, and only God knows how many I have left, I am determined to make every seminar, large and small, the very best one I have ever conducted.

That is my goal. It is also my promise to every one of our seminar hosts and to all the participants. Not knowing when, if ever, I will see you again on the mat, I will give you my very best every time I work with you.

You are always in my heart.
